Wilburn Weaver Dickerson Jr., 36, of West Paducah, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at his home.

Weaver was born in Paducah on May 21, 1976, to Wilburn Weaver Dickerson Sr. and Pam Ridings Dickerson. He was a 1994 graduate of Lone Oak High School and Murray State University. He was the owner of Gorilla Plant Fuels, an agricultural chemical and fertilizer company. He was an avid sportsman who loved to deer hunt, once getting a 10 point trophy deer. He also loved to duck hunt in Mississippi, once bagging a pintail duck. He was of the Baptist faith and an avid reader.

Weaver was a friend to everyone he met and had a glorious gift of gab.

He is survived by his parents, Wilburn Weaver Sr. and Pam Dickerson; a daughter, Emma Rose Dickerson of Jackson, Mo.; and three siblings, Lisa M. Dickerson, Daniel (Nikki) Dickerson and Jonathan (Alexis) Dickerson, all of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilburn and Elsie Dickerson, Alton Ridings, and Jean Desmond.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with Rev. J. Gottman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
