Wayne Threlkeld, 61, of Paducah passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at University of Louisville hospital.
Mr. Threlkeld was a pipefitter for Westlake Chemical Plant for 39 years and a member of Rosebower Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Threlkeld; his stepfather, Fred Wilcox; two daughters, Tammy (Wes) Cooper of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Sharon (Mike) Stiff of Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Gary (Cheryl) of Morris, Ill., and Freddie Wilcox of Gurnee, Ill.; one sister, Vickie (Jeffery) Rockel of Holmer Glenn, Ill.; two grandchildren, Keaton Cooper of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Alex Cooper of Haysville, Wash., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Threlkeld and Betty Wilcox; two brothers-in-law, Billy Hurley and Joe Hurley; one sister-in-law, Wanda Lee; his father-in-law, Rudell Hurley, and his mother-in-law, Annabell Hurley.
Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Revs. Michael Cruce and Justin Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Birdsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, April 26, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home.
