Micheal and Tracy Wallace of West Paducah announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Lynn Wallace, to William Michael Quimby, son of David and Betty Quimby of Burna.

Miss Wallace is the granddaughter of Charles and Eloise Crowell Sr. of Symsonia, the late Jackie Crowell, and the Rev. Rodney and Gail Wallace of Benton. She is the great-granddaughter of Lalah Mae Kaler of Symsonia. Miss Wallace is a 2008 graduate of Heath High School and a 2012 magna cum laude graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro with a bachelor’s degree in middle school math education and special education. She is employed by the McCracken County Board of Education.

Mr. Quimby is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Manus of Bunker Hill, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Quimby of Clinton, Ill. He is a 2007 graduate of Reidland High School and attended West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He served in the U.S. Army in Operation New Dawn with the 149th Forward Support Co. in Iraq and is employed by the Army National Guard 438th Military Police Co. in Murray.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at Heartland Worship Center in Paducah.
