Megan Camille Waldrop and Ryan Patrick Sears will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday at Altona Baptist Church in Calvert City. All friends and relatives are invited to the ceremony and reception following at Pathway Baptist Church.

Miss Waldrop is the daughter of Scott and Lori Waldrop of Calvert City. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Bobbye Fowler of Calvert City, Victor and Pam Waldrop of Calvert City, and the great-granddaughter of Edwin and Gladys Waldrop of Calvert City. She is a 2005 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed by the McCracken County Board of Education.

Mr. Sears is the son of Stephen and Mary Sears of Calvert City. He is the grandson of James and Lois Elkins of Murray, Gilbert and Winta Sears of Murray, and the great-grandson of Novell Puckett of Lowes. He is a 2005 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 2012 cum laude graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He is employed at Amerisource Bergen.
