GOLO — Vernon Earline Hudspeth, 86, of the Golo community died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ and Hammond Chapter No. 370 Eastern Star of Hammond, Ind.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Newsom of Golo; two sons, Loyd Hudspeth Jr. and Joseph Hudspeth, both of Golo; two brothers, Joseph C. Draper and Bill Draper, both of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Faye Hollingsworth of Florence, Ala., and Ruby Robbins of Keeling, Ala.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Hudspeth Sr.; one son, Dolphus Taylor, and three brothers. Her parents were Joseph V. and Ruby O. Graham Draper.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Byrn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at the funeral home.
