BROOKPORT, Ill. — Truman Emerson, 74, of Brookport, died Wednesday at his residence.

He was a retired lockmaster of Dams 52 and 53 and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of Farmers Masonic Lodge 232 in Brookport.

He is survived by one daughter, Leigh Ann Kepner of Paducah; one brother, Harley Emerson of Golconda; one granddaughter; and several nieces.

His parents were Carl Emerson and Helen Reynolds.

Services will be at a later date.

Cremation Society of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
