BENTON — Tina Marie Merritt, 44, of Union City, Tenn., formerly of Marshall County, died Thursday at her home.

She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Benton.

She is survived by her husband, James Michael Merritt; her mother, Doris Puckett Burkeen of Calvert City; one brother, Johnny Burkeen of Paducah, and one sister, Michelle Norris of Dawson Springs.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Burkeen.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. The Rev. Brad White will officiate, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
