BUCHANAN, Tenn. — Tilmon Cowan, 86, of Buchanan died at 11:55 p.m. Thursday at his home.

He is survived by three daughters, Anita Lewis of Buchanan, Annette Steward of Chicago, and Adriane Jackson of San Antonio; one son, Clark Cowan of Ohio; one brother, Thurman Cowan of Chicago; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. His parents were Ed and Alice Meadows Cowan.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Western Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Buchanan. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Buchanan. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home of Murray is in charge of arrangements.
