Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Massey of West Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows in a ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday at High Point Pentecostal Church, Noble Road, West Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited to the ceremony and reception following. The couple request no gifts.
Mr. Massey and the former Thelma F. Yopp were married Nov. 17, 1962, in Brookport, Ill. Their attendants were Donnie Throgmorten and Linda Spears Throgmorten.
Mr. and Mrs. Massey are self-employed farmers. Mrs. Massey is the daughter of the late Elizabeth Chambers, Frank Cox, John Yopp and Clarence Chambers. Mr. Massey is the son of the late Rev. T.A. and Hilda Massey.
They are the parents of Roy Massey of West Paducah, the Rev. Clayton Massey of Pittsburgh, and Mytanda Souders of Paducah. They have 12 grandchildren.
