CALVERT CITY — Thomas Franklin (Peewee) Overfield Jr., 73, of Calvert City, Ky., went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 18th, at 9:20 a.m., at home with his loving family.

Thomas graduated from Livingston County High School. He spent 4 years in the United States Navy, a few years barbering, and 35 years at Air Products in Calvert City.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Vicki; his daughter, Alice Penrod of Calvert City; his son, Thomas (Frankie) Overfield III of Calvert City; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Peggy Fraliex (Paul) of Burna, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas F. Overfield Sr.; his mother, Myra (Dickerson) Overfield; and one brother, Robert Overfield.

Per request of Thomas there will be no services. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Lourdes Hospice.
