Thomas E. Hiett, 63, of Paducah passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mr. Hiett was a resident of McCracken Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and was a past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3135 in Paducah. He was a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Local 500.

Surviving are two sons, Joe and Michael Hiett, both of Paducah; one sister, Linda (Jerry) Deaton of Paducah; two brothers, Mickey Hiett and Joe Hiett, both of Paducah; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Frank and Pauline Hiett.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lyman Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be today (Friday) from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
