HICKMAN — Thelma A. Mayfield, 91, of Hickman died Monday at Union City Manor Nursing Home in Union City, Tenn.

Mrs. Mayfield was a member of Rush Creek United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Women and served as past district president for the Dyersburg district.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Taylor of Hickman; a son, John Mayfield of Hickman; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Mayfield. Her parents were Paul and Lyda Berry Davis.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with interment in Rush Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
