Lakyn Michele Tankersley and Zachary Blake Thorn will be united in marriage at 5 p.m. Saturday at Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah. All friends and relatives are invited. Only out-of-town invitations have been sent.

Miss Tankersley is the daughter of Bob and Tammy Tankersley of Cunningham. She is the granddaughter of Mike and Margaret Tankersley of Cunningham, and Leon and Kay Sutton of Bardwell. She is a 2007 graduate of Carlisle County High School and a 2011 graduate of Murray State University in Murray. She is employed by The Paducah Sun.

Mr. Thorn is the son of Jeff and Debbi Wiggins of Paducah, and Joe and Kathy Thorn of Benton. He is the grandson of Tommy and Phyllis Helm of Paducah, Martha Wiggins of Paducah and the late George Wiggins, Dub and Phyllis Thorn of Benton, the late BobbyeJo Thorn, Kenneth Galloway of Benton and the late Patsy Galloway. He is a 2006 graduate of Reidland High School, a 2007 graduate of West Kentucky Community & Technical College and is attending Murray State University. He is employed by Cracker Barrel in Calvert City.
