MARION — Suzanne Conger James, 87, of Marion died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville.

She was a homemaker and member of Piney Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Bergman of Bradenton, Fla., and Peggy James, Judy Riley and Debbie Drury, all of Marion; one son, Michael James of Marion; one sister, Bonnie Martin of Marion; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Pete” James; two sisters, and one brother. Her parents were John and Mary Baker Conger.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Myers Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Heath Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the funeral home.
