METROPOLIS, Ill. — Ms. Susan Oetha Harrell, 77, of Metropolis, Ill., passed away at 1:33 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013, at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. Rev. Louis W. Brinker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Susan is survived by one son, Ray Harrell of Metropolis; one grandson, Nathan Harrell and wife Courtney of Metropolis; and three great-grandchildren, Ella Harrell, Amelia Harrell, Olivia Harrell, all of Metropolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ray Lovins; her parents, Otis and Stella (Pulley) Brown; and her siblings.

Friends may call at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, from noon to 1 p.m.
