SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Sara Louise Gossum and Marc Leslie Johnson were united in marriage Sept. 14 at Paradise Cove by Lake Grapevine in Southlake with the Rev. Betsy Godbold officiating. Music was provided by Bows and Strings of Dallas.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Janet Gossum of Fulton, Ky.

The groom is the son of the late Leslie and Virginia Johnson.

The bride chose Mrs. Natalie Gossum Lyndon of Nashville, Tenn., as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Jennifer Chastain of Seymour, Ind., Mrs. Nicole James of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Wendi Woods of Fort Worth.

The groom chose David Johnson of Crystal Lake, Ill., as his best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Johnson of Fort Worth, Michael Gossum of Bowling Green, Ky., and Clayton Woods of Fort Worth. Serving as ushers were Nicholas Lyndon of Nashville, Tenn., and Michael Gossum of Bowling Green, who also served as a reader.

A reception followed. Miss Tara Gossum of Las Vegas and Miss Jacey Moore of North Richland attended the guest register.

The bride is a graduate of Graves County High School in Mayfield, Ky., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., and a master of business administration degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.

The groom is a graduate of Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Ill., and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Clark University in Worcester, Mass.

Both the bride and groom are employed by the Burlington Santa Fe Railroad in Fort Worth.

The couple reside in Fort Worth.
