Ruth Lunell Bell, 89, of West Paducah, died at 7:38 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at Lourdes hospital.
She had worked years ago as an auditing clerk for Sears, however, most of her time was spent as a homemaker. She was a life-long member of Palestine United Methodist Church, where she worked with youth and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband, Leland E. Bell; a daughter, Linda Smith of Bowling Green; a son, Charles Bell of Ennis, Texas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter. Her parents were Roy and Bertie Graham Burkhart.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Randy Hines and Kendrick Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
Visitation will be after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
