Ruby Copeland of Jackson, Miss., went to be with her Lord and Savior early Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012, at Baptist Hospital.

Formerly of Paducah, Ky., Mrs. Copeland had lived in Clinton, Miss., for the last 12 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Eugene Copeland; her parents, Seth Howell and Annie Bell Venable of Paducah, Ky.; and her brother, Brian D. Venable of Tulsa, Okla.

She is survived by her sons, William H. Copeland and wife Dorothy, and Robert L. Copeland and wife Sandy, all of Clinton; her daughter, Suzanne Armour of Alexandria, Tenn.; and her sister, Linnie Connor of Paducah, Ky. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Woodlawn Memorial Garden Chapel. There will be no visitation. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of local arrangements.
