EDDYVILLE — Services for Rose Jewell, 68, of Lyon County will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Roger Felker and the Rev. Jeff Boone officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Mrs. Jewell died Thursday at her home.

She was the owner and operator of Jewell’s Bar-B-Que in Princeton and was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jewell; two sons, Troy Jewell of Princeton and Lowell Wayne Jewell of Lyon County; one daughter, Regina Phelps of Lyon County; her mother, Lida Stewart Cook of Princeton; one brother, Melvin Cook of Hopkinsville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Cook; and one brother.
