HICKORY — Ronald Earl Cain, 64, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 8:38 p.m. after a courageous battle with lung cancer. A resident of Graves County, Ronnie was born in Paducah and owned his own business as a heating and air conditioning specialist. He and his wife, Carol, were married for 33 years and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family.
Ronnie was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a taxidermist who loved the outdoors. A member of the National Rifle Association, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Carol Smith Cain of Hickory; his mother, Virginia Louise Cannon Cain Langston of Paducah; one daughter, Shelli Parks and husband Deron; one sister, Sondra June Brannon and husband Kelly; and one brother, Steve Cain, all of Melber. He has three grandchildren, Heather Parks Miller and husband Nick; Mallory Parks, and Kolton Parks. Ronnie leaves behind one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Earl Clifton Cain Jr.
Friends may visit with the family Friday, November 9, 2012 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. also at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
Buddy Pugh will officiate with burial to follow at Diggs Chapel Cemetery in Kansas, Ky.
