SALEM — Mr. Rolley James Johnson, 86, of Salem, Ky., passed away Wednesday morning, October 3, 2012, at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Juanita Mae Johnson; one son, Rolley E. Johnson and his wife Iona K., of Forest Hill, Md.; two sisters, Roberta Ford and Linda Shockley, both of Madisonville, Ky.; one brother, Randolph Johnson of Waynesville, Ohio; two grandsons, James Lynn Johnson and Christopher Mark Johnson, both of Forest Hill, Md.; and four great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Samantha, Kaylin, and Emily Johnson.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Bernell, Thelma Willett, Mertie Alley, Pauline Hiatt; and his parents, Rolley and Mae Dobbs Johnson.
Funeral services will be Saturday, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors, with the Rev. Henry Ramey officiating.
Burial will follow in Pinckneyville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at Boyd Funeral Directors in Salem, Ky.
