LA CENTER — Roberta Menser, 95, of La Center, formerly of Wingo, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Life Care Center of La Center.

She was a housewife and member of Enon Baptist Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Ellen Harr and Betty Massie, both of La Center, Mary Ann Gordon of Oscar, and Magdaline West of Arlington; three sons, James Menser and Charles Menser, both of Mayfield, and Johnny Menser of Bardwell; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Menser; one son, Robert Menser; two brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Nall and Hattie Coleman Holden.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Ryan Baker officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
