MURRAY — Richard G. Rutledge, 79, of Murray died Tuesday at Belmont Nursing Home in Allen, Texas.

He retired from Ryan Milk Company in Murray, now Morningstar Foods Inc.

He was an Army veteran and of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rutledge; two daughters, Susan Baumert of Texas and Deborah Mennuti of Virginia; one son, David Rutledge of Korea; two brothers, Jim Rutledge and Jerry Rutledge, both of Indiana, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother. His parents were Jesse and Eloise Rutledge.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Jason Rutledge officiating.

Burial will follow in Murray City Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
