HOPKINSVILLE — Raymond Lee “Moose” Parrish, 76, of Hopkinsville died Friday at his home.

Mr. Parrish was a member of Salem Baptist Church and attended Living Hope Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was survived by his wife, Susan Diane Hart Parrish; one son, Edward Lee Parrish of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Melissa Curtis of Cadiz; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, J.E. Parrish and Jewell Parrish, both of Cerulean.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. His parents were Sylvester and Lois Parrish.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrel Crawford officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with full military honors. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
