BENTON — Services for Ray Junior Story, 79, of Benton, formerly of Murray, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray. The Rev. Gary Vacca will officiate, with burial in Murray City Cemetery.

Mr. Story died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He retired from the Murray Division of Tappan and the Murray Country Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Ginger Doughty of Murray and Denecia Gandy of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Sheila Vacca of Murray; one son, Cary Story of Louisville; five sisters, Ruth Beach, Ruby Williams, Betty Jean Sykes, Dorothy Manning and Barbara Parker, all of Murray; two brothers, Ira Lee Story of Hopkinsville and Kenneth Story of Murray; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Ray and Cora Maybelle Kemp Story.

Friends may call after noon Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
