BENTON — Pauline Edwards, 93, of Benton, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from Ashby Chair Factory, where she worked as a line operator.

Born Thursday, September 25, 1919, in Logan Co., Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Winford Robertson and the late Lorell (Bivin) Robertson. She was the wife of the late John Rhea Edwards.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Womack of Woodburn, Ky.; and grandchildren, Craig Edwards, wife Robin, and Johnna Smith; great grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Matthew Smith, Samantha Lavender, Tyler Edwards, Travis Edwards, and great-great-grandchildren, Emma, Sierra, Jada, Rosie, Brayden, and Samuel.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her son, Johnny Edwards; her brothers, Robert Robertson, Kenneth Robertson and Buck Robertson; and sisters, Jean Lee and Jo Reid Robinson.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Collier Funeral Chapel, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, Kentucky 42025 with the Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating.

Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, Ky.

Visitation will be held after 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Collier Funeral Home.
