Mariah Eugenia Nearpass of Fresno, Calif., and Pfc. Richard Matthew Rowe of Benton announce their engagement.

Miss Nearpass is a graduate of Bullard High School in Fresno.

Mr. Rowe is a graduate of the Channel Islands High School in Oxnard, Calif., and is a private first class in the U.S. Army, stationed in Seoul, South Korea.

Wedding vows will be exchanged at 5 p.m. July 6 at Olive United Methodist Church, Old Olive Road, Marshall County. All friends and relatives are invited.
