FULTON — Mr. and Mrs. Michael Jeffress of Fulton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a tea from 2 to 4 p.m. June 12 at Parkway Church of Christ in Fulton. All friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Jeffress and the former Bonnie Ruth Usrey were married June 17, 1961, by Paul Bates in Fulton. Their attendants were Albert Jeffress and Judy Kaye Stinnett Schwerdt.

Mrs. Jeffress is a retired vice president at Heritage Bank in Fulton. Her parents were Finis and Roselean Usrey.

Mr. Jeffress is a farmer and a retired employee of Goodyear. He is the son of the late Roper and Jessie Jeffress.

They have one son, David Michael Jeffress of Murray.
