MURRAY — Michael Ranz, 65, of Murray, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Ranz was a retired lawyer for LandAmerica.

He is survived by one daughter, Rachel Ranz of Indianapolis; one son, Eric Ranz of Portland, Ore., and one brother, John Gregory Ranz of Glenview, Ill.

His parents were Harold G. and Rachel Ruth Ranz.
