MAYFIELD — Michael L. Ward, 28, of Mayfield died Thursday morning at his residence.

He was a member of His House Ministries and a 2003 graduate of Graves County High School.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Michael Ward Sr. and Shelby Ward of Paducah; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Brad Viniard of Mayfield; one son, Izaiyah Ward of Mayfield; one sister, Chelsea Viniard of Mayfield; two stepbrothers, Devin Viniard of Mayfield and Caspar Chesnutt of Paducah; three stepsisters, Hunter Kaye Viniard of Mayfield, and Kimberly Chesnutt and Destiny Chesnutt, both of Paducah; and three grandmothers, Joyce Alexander and Audrey Viniard, both of Mayfield, and Doris Painter of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Bobby Lamb and J.T. Ward, and great-grandmother Mozell Lamb.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Chad Lamb officiating.

Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield after 5 p.m. Monday.
