Lyne Dickey and Gary McDowell, both of Paducah, announce the engagement of their daughter, Maegan Lee McDowell, to Levi Christopher Mansfield, son of Lynn and Jana Mansfield of West Paducah.

Miss McDowell is the granddaughter of Buddy Smith of Paducah and the late Mae Smith, Linda Lacey of Gilbertsville and the late Bill Lacey. She is a 2007 graduate of Heath High School in West Paducah, a 2011 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a master of science degree in civil engineering. She is an alumna of Chi Omega sorority and is employed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet in Paducah.

Dr. Mansfield is the grandson of Sue Mansfield of West Paducah and the late Norman Mansfield, and Wilma and Martha Newberry of West Paducah. He is a 2004 graduate of Heath High School, a 2008 graduate of Murray State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology, and he earned a doctorate of optometry degree in 2012 from the Southern College of Optometry. He is employed by Newberry Eyecare Center in Paducah.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Nov. 17 at Broadway United Methodist Church in Paducah.
