MURRAY — Maude Evelyn Hale, 91, of Murray died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
She retired from the Calloway County school system, where she worked in the Food Services Department. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Wilma Edmonds of Murray; one sister, Alma Lee Adams of Dexter; two grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; five great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Franklin Hale; and six brothers. Her parents were Daniel Huie Williams and Beulah Mae Burkeen Williams.
Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Revs. William B. Miller and Dustin McClain officiating. Burial will follow in Murray City Cemetery. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. today, Jan. 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
