Mr. and Mrs. Fred Palmer Beckman of Paducah recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Mr. Beckman and the former Mary Bell Kaler were married Feb. 28, 1953.

Mrs. Beckman is a retired teacher with the McCracken County Schools.

Mr. Beckman is retired from USEC.

They have three sons: Kent Beckman of Lone Oak, Fred Beckman of Bowling Green and Philip Beckman of Baton Rogue, La.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
