BARDWELL — Services for Mary B. Williford, 91, of Bardwell, formerly of Charleston, Mo., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston with Mark Burnett officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Mrs. Williford, a native of Mississippi County, Mo., died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Countryside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bardwell.
Mrs. Williford operated her own alterations shop for many years and also served as a caregiver for several families. She was a member of Mississippi Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Woodruff and Vernon W. Williford; four brothers; two sisters; an infant son, and two great-grandchildren. Her parents were Cecil and Nellie Forsythe Kidd.
Surviving are three sons, Roy Woodruff of Bridgeport, Texas, Tom Woodruff of Bardwell and Winston Williford of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two daughters, Phyllis Woodruff Wright of Barlow and Cynthia Nell Woodruff Moser of Big Sandy, Tenn.; one sister, Garnett Hinch of Ballwin, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.
