HOPKINSVILLE —  Mary Frances “Peggy” Leavell of Hopkinsville died Monday afternoon, March 4, 2013, at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Arlander Leavell: six sons, Marvin A. Leavell of Tacoma, Wash., Gary L. Leavell of Columbia,  Tenn., Chester D. Leavell and Mark E. Leavell, both of Hopkinsville, Terry L. Leavell of Paducah, and Dennis F. Leavell of Columbia, Mo.; one daughter, Janice Epps of Bakersfield, Calif., five sisters, Mettie B. Howard, Carrie L. Grimes and Diane Drumwright, all of Hopkinsville, Sharon Winston of Fairview, and Carolyn Slaughter of Lancaster, Calif.; 26 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Cave Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Merriweather officiating There will be no public visitation.

Adams and Sons Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
