METROPOLIS, Ill. — Mary Castleman, 95, of Metropolis, Ill., passed away at 6 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Metropolis, Ill.

Ms. Castleman attended Weaver Creek Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by four nieces; several great-nieces; and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Coy Castleman; her parents, John and Mattie (Stockton) Martin; her daughter, Peggy Sue Castleman; two sisters, Johnsie Metcalf and Ollie Rutledge; three brothers, John Martin, Lenard Martin, and Bill Martin; two nephews; and one niece.

There will be no visitation.

Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
