SOUTH FULTON, Tenn. — Marie Wright, age 86, of South Fulton died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at her home.

She was a member of the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton and was a graduate of the South Fulton High School class of 1945. She had worked at the South Fulton City Hall for 28 years where she retired as a city judge and city clerk for the City of South Fulton. She had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Wright of South Fulton, whom she married on April 14, 1945; a son, Tommy Wright (Connie) of Dyersburg, Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Wright of South Fulton, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Stacy Wicker (Anthony) of Jackson, Tenn., Kelli Clem (Doug) of St. Robert, Mo., Emily Rudesill (Justin) of Energy, Ill., Jeremiah Wright of Jackson, Tenn., Rita Hunsucker (Justin) of Morgantown, W.Va., and Troy Wright (Jenny) of Dyersburg, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Rudesill, Mason Rudesill, Anna-Claire Wright and Bentley Lane Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ottie Lee and Flora Hicks Bushart; a son, Bobby Wright; two sisters; and two brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky.

There will be no visitation or services held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
