METROPOLIS, Ill. — Marian Agnes (Lasee) Jennings, 82, of Metropolis, formerly of Cypress, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at her home.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Deanna West, Wayne Jennings, Denise Schaffer, Brenda Graves, Janet Ulrich, and Julie Cabot; her brother, Edward Lasee; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jennings. Her parents were William and Anna (Elsasser) Lassee.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.

There will be no public visitation. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
