Margaret Sparks, 82, of Paducah died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Lourdes hospital.

She was a retired cook for First Baptist Church in Paducah and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three sons, Jack Sparks of Metropolis, Ill., Randy Sparks of Hillsboro, Mo., and Glenn Sparks of Yucaipa, Calif.; one daughter, Candy Plemmons of Candler, N.C.; one stepsister, Vivian Clampett of Paducah; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Her parents were Ira J. Wrather and Annie Mae Holmes Wrather.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rick Breneman officiating.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
