CADIZ — Lynndale Harper, 72, of Lavergne, Tenn., formerly of Cadiz, died Tuesday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
He was a retired maintenance superintendent and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dotty Jane Harper; three sons, Lanny Harper of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Shawn Harper of Benton, and Dana Harper of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Elsie Tinsley, and one brother, Kenneth Harper, all of Kentucky.
His parents were Roy Lynn and Ada Thelma Harper.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parkway Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tenn., with the Revs. Dan Parker, Danny Guess, and Earl Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery in Cadiz.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, and after 2 p.m. Friday at Hurricane Baptist Church.
Collier Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests memorials be made to the building fund at Parkway Baptist Church in Smyrna.
