CADIZ — Louise Sons Guess, 81, of Cadiz died Wednesday at Shady Lawn Nursing Center.

Mrs. Guess was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and retired from Wilkinson’s Department Store.

She is survived by her husband, Joe B. Guess; one son, Steve Guess of Bowling Green; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers. Her parents were Lonnie R. and Eleanor Noel Sons.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Danny Guess, Richard Sexton and Steve Guess officiating.

Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery in Trigg County. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
