CALVERT CITY — Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Barrett of Calvert City will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Patti’s restaurant in Grand Rivers.

Mr. Barrett and the former Linda Wilson were married Oct. 6, 1962, by the Rev. H.D. Knight at Goshen Methodist Church in Stella. Their attendants were Gerald Barrett and Nancy Wilson Barrett.

Mrs. Barrett is the daughter of the late Hugh Darrel and Ruth Wilson.

Mr. Barrett is retired from B.F. Goodrich and Westlake after 34 years. He is the son of the late Woodrow and Naomi Barrett.

Mr. and Mrs. Barrett are active members of Pathway Baptist Church. They enjoy farming and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

They are the parents of David and Jan Barrett of Benton, Teri Barrett Shewcraft of Calvert City, and Monti and Denise Barrett Collins of Calvert City.

They have seven grandchildren: Blake and Lauren Barrett Wiseman of Benton, Jansen Barrett of Benton, Erika and Dalton Shewcraft of Calvert City and Sophie and Jillian Collins of Calvert City.
