SMITHLAND — Leslie Blair Sr., 94, of Smithland died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Calvert City.

He was a retired Army combat engineer, and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by two sons, Leslie Blair Jr. of Marshall Town, Iowa, and George Blair of Kuttawa; one daughter, Deborah DeGuire of Smithland; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Mae Blair; one brother, and one grandson. His parents were George and Jesse Blair.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Paradise Church Cemetery in Grand Rivers with Lynn McWherter officiating.
