MURRAY — Leonard M. Holloway, 92, of Murray died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at his home.
He retired from Kraft Foods after 32 years of service. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of Martin’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a former postmaster of the Shawneetown, Ill., post office, and a former member of the VFW, American Legion and Lions Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Bilbrey of Cookeville, Tenn., Ann Catherine Holloway of Louisville, and Marian H. Mason of Murray; one sister, Geraldine “Jerry” Brockett of Woodland Hills, Calif.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Jean Clayton Holloway; and a granddaughter. His parents were Millard Holloway and Mina Hogue Holloway.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Burkeen officiating. A eulogy will be provided by daughter Ann Catherine Holloway, and granddaughter Jennifer Freeman will offer reflections. Burial will follow in Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
