UNION CITY, Tenn. — Lela Clements Gordon, 95, of Union City, formerly of Fulton, Ky., died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
She was a member of Faith and Deliverance Church in South Fulton and a retired seamstress for Salant-Salant Inc.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Cole, Pat Cook, and Ann Hayden, all of Union City; two sons, Roger Dale Gordon of Fulton and Bobby Gordon of Palmersville, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alfred Gordon; one daughter, Linda Kay Lee; three sons, Rev. Billy Gene Hammock, Rev. Wayne Gordon and Russell Gordon; three brothers; and two sisters.
Her parents were John Thomas and Rosa Lee Ashley Clements.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton with burial in Greenlea Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the funeral home.
