FULTON — Leemon Stewart Jr., 64, of Fulton died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at his home.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retired pipe mill operator for Foley-Brodgen Co. in Newnan, Ga.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Dominey Stewart; his mother, Nettie Marie Wiggins Stewart of Clinton; a daughter, Janet Hamlin of Fulton; three sons, Joe Prater of Fulton, Tim Stewart of Fort Campbell and Tommy Stewart of Fulton; four grandchildren; a brother, Gaylon Stewart of Fulton; three sisters, Donna Kay Peoples of Crutchfield, Virginia Stewart of Fulton and Marsha Stewart of Dresden, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leemon Stewart Sr., and three brothers.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Hornbeak Funeral Home.
