CADIZ — Lawrence “Larry” Carneglia Sr., 75, of Cadiz died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.

He had retired as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He was survived by one son, Lawrence Carneglia Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Gigi Greaves of Orlando; two sisters, Alberta Thim of Cadiz and Florence Enoch of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Orlando Louis Carneglia; and his mother, Anna Carneglia.

Services will be at noon Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Goodwin Funeral Home with Babu Joseph officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. at the funeral home.
