SYMSONIA — Latha M. Jarvis, 82, of Symsonia, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at her home.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Adams of Benton and Brenda Reed of Mayfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hamp Smith; two brothers; and two sisters.

Her parents were Paul and Ida Jarvis.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Riley Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Cunningham officiating.
