MAYFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Larry Thomas Green of Mayfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration.

Mr. Green and the former Carolyn Sue Lovett were married May 26, 1961, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Hickory with the Rev. Edgar Siress officiating. Their attendants were Judith Thompson Doran and Gaylon Rogers.

Mrs. Green is retired from McClain, Baugh & Sims Insurance. She is the daughter of Joe and Ruby Lovett of Mayfield.

Mr. Green is a retired supervisor for Continental General Tire. He is the son of Lloyd and Mary Allis Green of Hickory.

They have three sons: Shayne Green of Lake Jackson, Texas, Tommy Craig Green of Trussville, Ala., and Joe David Green of Mayfield; and five grandchildren.
