Larry G. Alexander, 65, of West Paducah, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Alexander was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where he was a very committed member and former Sunday school teacher. He was a designer draftsman, a member of Silos Country Club, and received a bachelor’s degree of science from Murray State University.
Larry is survived by his wife, Janet Long Alexander; one daughter, Penny Alexander of West Paducah; one son, Jason Alexander and wife Kacey of West Paducah and one grandson, Logan Wade Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harlan Alexander and Myrtle Alexander.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Jewell Barrett, Rev. Bill Miller and Rev. Andy Shelton officiating.
The Alexander family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time of 3 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Harmony Baptist Church.
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
